Lahore (Showbiz Desk): Rising Pakistani actor and singer Aashir Wajahat has clarified the circulating rumours regarding his alleged relationship with young actress Arika Haq.
Speaking in a recent YouTube program, Aashir Wajahat said that the rumours spreading on social media about his closeness with Arika Haq are purely based on fans’ assumptions and wishes.
He said that fans often want to see their favourite artists together in real life as well, which is why he and Arika are also imagined as a pair. However, in reality, there is only a good friendship between them.
The actor clarified that he does not view this trend negatively and considers it a reflection of fans’ love and admiration, but their actual relationship is strictly professional and friendly.
It is worth noting that Aashir Wajahat began his career at a young age with the film Karachi Se Aagay, which was produced by his parents Wajahat Rauf and Shazia Wajahat.
He later appeared in various projects including the drama serial Pinjra and gained recognition for his acting skills. He is currently gaining popularity for his character “Subuk” and the song Sadqay.
