Karachi (Showbiz Desk) Senior Pakistani actor Behroze Sabzwari has raised questions regarding the income and content of controversial podcasters.
The 57-year-old actor, who began his career as a child artist at PTV, has recently come under criticism due to statements made in various podcasts and has once again made headlines.
During multiple podcast appearances, some of his remarks—particularly those related to alcohol consumption—went viral on social media, after which he had to issue clarifications and also avoided some interviews.
In a recent interview, Behroze Sabzwari said that a large number of people are now running podcasts, and some individuals attempt to extract statements that may prove harmful to others.
He said he always prays that nothing comes out of his mouth that could hurt anyone’s feelings, adding that the controversial remarks that went viral were made off the record.
The actor also questioned the earnings of podcasters, saying that in many cases it cannot be confirmed whether such income is earned through halal means.
He further said that in today’s era, it is important for people to understand the difference between halal and haram, as some individuals adopt luxurious lifestyles and expensive cars, while the sources of their income remain unclear.
