Dubai (Sports Desk) International Olympic Committee has recommended lifting restrictions imposed on Belarusian athletes.
According to an IOC statement, all restrictions on Belarusian athletes participating in international competitions should be removed so that they can once again take part in global sporting events.
News agencies reported that after the start of the Ukraine war in 2022, Belarusian and Russian athletes and officials were banned from participating in international competitions.
Reports also stated that Belarus has been used as a supporting base or staging ground for Russian military operations.
