Lahore (Sports Desk) Former Pakistani national badminton champion Palwasha Bashir has secured another major achievement by winning the Masters tournament held in Canada.
Palwasha Bashir clinched the title in the women’s singles 35+ age group at the Canadian Masters Tournament with an outstanding performance.
In the final, the Pakistani star player defeated Canada’s top-seeded player Anna Rice to secure the victory.
After her success, Palwasha Bashir said that more than 300 players from different countries participated in the event, making the competition extremely tough.
She clarified that participating in the Masters category does not mean the end of her open-category career, and she remains committed to competing at higher levels in the future as well.
Palwasha Bashir expressed pride in her achievement, saying that winning the Canadian Masters Championship is a memorable moment for her.
