Seniority of Judges Changed After Transfer of Three Judges in Islamabad High Court

Islamabad (Pakistan News) The seniority of judges in the Islamabad High Court has changed following the transfer of three judges.

According to court sources, Justice Sardar Ijaz Ishaq has become the most senior judge after the Chief Justice.

Under the new court roster, the duty schedule for hearing cases next week has been issued, under which 7 single benches and 4 division benches will hear cases from May 4.

According to details, a special division bench for tax cases has been formed comprising Justice Sardar Ijaz Ishaq and Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir.

Justice Muhammad Asif will be part of various division benches and will hear criminal and other cases.

As per the roster, the first division bench will consist of Chief Justice Sarfaraz Dogar and Justice Muhammad Asif, while the second bench will comprise Justice Sardar Ijaz Ishaq and Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir.

Similarly, the third division bench will include Justice Khadim Hussain Soomro and Justice Muhammad Asif, while the fourth bench will consist of Justice Muhammad Azam Khan and Justice Raja Inam Ameen Minhas.
