Rawalpindi (Pakistan Khabar) — Eleven terrorists affiliated with the Indian proxy Fitna al-Hindustan were killed during intelligence-based operations by security forces in Balochistan.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), operations against terrorists were conducted in Kharan and Washuk districts on September 6 and 7.
ISPR said terrorists in Kharan attempted to block a road and disrupt local traffic. However, security forces responded swiftly and killed eight terrorists operating with Indian patronage.
During a second operation in Washuk, a terrorist hideout was targeted and destroyed. In the ensuing intense exchange of fire, three more terrorists were killed, while 2.9 tons of explosives were recovered. The explosives were being used to manufacture improvised explosive devices.
According to ISPR, a clearance operation is underway to locate and eliminate any other terrorists present in the area.
The resolve was also expressed to continue operations until terrorism carried out with foreign patronage and support is completely eliminated.
According to the Pakistan Army spokesperson, under the Azm-e-Istehkam initiative, the counterterrorism campaign by security forces and law enforcement agencies will continue with full force across the country.
