The product description states that many great ideas come to mind while playing, and this special basketball was introduced to highlight that concept.
However, the $70 price tag surprised many users, as a standard size 7 rubber basketball of similar quality is generally available in the United States for around $20.
Due to its high price and ChatGPT branding, the basketball became a topic of memes and sarcastic comments on social media, with many users calling it unnecessarily expensive. Despite this, all available units were sold out on the first day of launch.
