Karachi (Commerce Desk) Minister of State for Blockchain and Crypto Bilal Bin Saqib has said that the State Bank of Pakistan has lifted the eight-year-old ban on crypto banking.
In his statement, he said that after this decision, Pakistani banks will be able to open accounts for licensed crypto companies, paving the way for legal and regulated activities in the digital assets sector.
According to Bilal Bin Saqib, the lifting of the ban by the State Bank is an important step towards promoting financial technology in the country and moving towards a modern financial system.
