Quetta (Pakistan Desk): The joint Operation Shabaan by the Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps Balochistan, and police against terrorists is continuing with full force, during which nine more terrorists have been killed.
According to security sources, effective operations are being carried out against terrorists associated with Fitna al-Khawarij, and nine terrorists were targeted in the latest operations.
Sources said that security forces conducted air and ground operations against terrorists hiding in difficult mountainous areas and remote locations.
According to security officials, the number of terrorists killed during Operation Shabaan has reached 52, while a total of 88 terrorists have been killed in Operation Shabaan and other intelligence-based operations since July 5.
Security sources said that Operation Shabaan will continue until the last terrorist is eliminated from Balochistan.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif appreciated the achievements of security forces and said that the menace of terrorism will be eliminated from its roots.
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi paid tribute to the Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps Balochistan, and police, saying that the brave forces have foiled the nefarious designs of the enemy.
He said that terrorists are a threat to the country and nation, their complete elimination is necessary, and elements working against peace will not be allowed to hide anywhere.
