Aamir Khan Reveals He Signed Two Films Without Reading Scripts on His Father’s Advice

Mumbai (Showbiz Desk) Bollywood actor Aamir Khan has revealed that in his career he also signed two films without even reading their scripts.

In a recent interview, Aamir Khan said that the two films were “Number One” and “Tum Mere Ho,” which he agreed to do on the advice of his father, Tahir Hussain, without hearing the story.

According to the actor, he usually selects films based on emotion and the impact of the story. He said that whenever he listens to a script, he evaluates it like an ordinary viewer, and only decides to work in a film if the story impresses him.

Aamir Khan said that for the film “Number One,” his father had already agreed on his behalf and told him that Dev Anand wanted to meet him, after which he said yes without reading the script.

Similarly, the second film “Tum Mere Ho” was also made under his father’s production. According to Aamir Khan, he initially tried to learn about the story but later, on his father’s insistence, he agreed without knowing the details.

The actor added that if anyone did not like his other films, the responsibility lies with him, but these two projects were chosen completely without reading the scripts.
