Islamabad (Web Desk): An artificial intelligence-based sign language interpreter and assistance system has been introduced in Pakistan for people with hearing impairments.
This AI interpretation system is part of the “Suno” project, developed by Pakistani organization ConnectHear in collaboration with Ufone. Its purpose is to deliver important information to deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals in Pakistani Sign Language.
Through this technology, everyday conversations and important announcements can be translated into understandable sign language, enabling people with hearing impairments to easily understand the information.
