Lahore (Pakistan Khabar): Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has saluted the Shaheens, brave personnel, martyrs and veterans of the Pakistan Air Force on the occasion of Air Force Day, paying tribute to their unparalleled sacrifices and professional capabilities.
In her special message, Maryam Nawaz Sharif said that Air Force Day is a symbol of national unity, firm determination and patriotism. The services of the Pakistan Air Force in protecting the country’s airspace are unforgettable.
She said that the Shaheens of the Pakistan Air Force, including martyred Rashid Minhas, wrote stories of courage, valor and bravery in the skies that will always be remembered. The nation will never forget the sacrifices of these brave sons.
The Punjab Chief Minister said that on Air Force Day, tribute is paid to the martyrs and veterans of the Pakistan Air Force, while saluting the professional expertise of the Shaheens.
According to Maryam Nawaz Sharif, last May, the Pakistan Air Force shot down eight modern enemy fighter jets and raised the green and white flag high. With their professional capabilities, bravery and determination, the Shaheens once again made the nation proud.
The Chief Minister offered special prayers for the elevation of the ranks of the martyrs and for their families, saying that the brave sons who sacrificed their lives for the homeland are heroes of the nation, and their sacrifices will always remain alive in our hearts.
