MUMBAI (Showbiz Desk): Bollywood’s renowned actor Amitabh Bachchan has clarified reports regarding his health that spread after one of his social media posts, saying that his post was misunderstood.
The 83-year-old actor told the media that he has neither undergone any surgery nor are the concerning reports about his health accurate.
According to Amitabh Bachchan, the medical terms used in his blog were actually written as metaphors, intended to describe the mental state of a champion after Argentina’s defeat by Spain in the FIFA World Cup final.
He said that he is completely fine and has not undergone any surgery. He explained that he had only given an example that, just as returning home after surgery or intensive care can be a physically and mentally difficult phase for a patient, similarly, recovering from a defeat can also be a challenging stage for a champion.
The actor clarified that his reference was to Argentina’s defeat against Spain in the FIFA World Cup and the emotional condition of a great player like Lionel Messi. However, people interpreted it as being related to his own health.
Amitabh Bachchan assured his fans that they do not need to worry about his health, as he is completely well.
It is worth mentioning that this clarification came a few hours after his social media post in which he expressed his views on Lionel Messi and Argentina’s defeat against Spain.
