Washington (Web Desk): Technology company Apple Inc. is set to establish its first developer center in Europe later this year.
The move comes at a time when tensions have existed between the company and the European Union over various policy matters. Although Apple maintains a strong presence in the European market, it has recently faced multiple regulatory disputes with authorities.
European regulators argue that the company has maintained excessive control over its digital platforms, which has forced it to make several changes to its policies.
This new center will become part of Apple’s global network of developer hubs, which already includes locations in Cupertino, Bengaluru, Shanghai, and Singapore.
The first European developer center will be located in Berlin, Germany, and is scheduled to be officially inaugurated by the end of this year.
Apple’s developer centers are designed to support programmers and companies building applications for its ecosystem. They offer training sessions, hands-on workshops, and direct guidance from experts to help developers improve their products and enhance their performance.
