Karachi (Sports Desk): After the victory against Quetta Gladiators, Peshawar Zalmi assistant and bowling coach Azhar Mahmood has praised captain Babar Azam’s outstanding performance, calling him a world-class player.
Speaking at a press conference, Azhar Mahmood said that there is no other player in Pakistan cricket who maintains consistency with a strike rate of 180 or 190, adding that Babar Azam’s biggest strength is his consistency.
He further said that Peshawar Zalmi had carefully built its squad for the PSL and has full confidence in the available talent, but the key lies in utilizing that talent in the right way.
It is worth noting that in the same match, Babar Azam delivered a brilliant batting performance, scoring his 12th T20 century of his career. He completed his century off 52 balls, including 6 fours and 4 sixes, playing a key role in his team’s victory.
