Karachi (Sports Desk) — Islamabad United’s bowling consultant Rumman Raees has praised the outstanding batting of Peshawar Zalmi captain Babar Azam, saying that he fully deserves credit for his innings.
Speaking at a press conference after the PSL 11 qualifier played in Karachi, Rumman Raees said that playing against slow bowling on Karachi’s pitch required special skill.
He said that Babar Azam is once again returning to his true form and is a classical batter against whom disciplined bowling is always required.
According to Rumman Raees, Babar Azam’s batting made a clear difference in the match and his performance was highly commendable.
It is worth mentioning that in the qualifier, Peshawar Zalmi defeated Islamabad United by 70 runs to qualify for the final, marking their fifth appearance in the tournament final.
