Wellington (Sports Desk) — The New Zealand Women’s cricket team has announced its 15-member squad for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup.
According to details, the team will be led by Sophie Devine, while experienced players Sophie Devine and Suzie Bates have also been included in the squad.
New Zealand Cricket stated that Sophie Devine and Suzie Bates will be playing their final T20 World Cup, after which both cricketers are expected to announce their retirement.
The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup will begin on June 12 in England. Ahead of the tournament, the New Zealand Women’s team will also play a three-match T20 series against England as part of their preparations.
