Bangladesh Defeats Pakistan by 11 Runs to Win Series

Dhaka (Sports Desk): In the third and final one-day match played at Mirpur, Bangladesh defeated Pakistan by 11 runs to clinch the series. Pakistan, chasing a target of 291 runs, managed 279 in 50 overs, losing all wickets in the process.

Salman Agha starred with 106 runs, but his brilliant innings was not enough to secure victory. Other contributions came from Sadd Masood (38), captain Shaheen Shah Afridi (37), Abdul Samad (34), Ghazi Ghouri (29), Fahim Ashraf (9), Sahibzada Farhan (6), Moaz Siddiqat (6), Mohammad Rizwan (4), and Haris Rauf (1).

For Bangladesh, Taskin Ahmed took 4 wickets, Mustafizur Rahman 3, Nahid Rana 2, and Rashid Khan 1 wicket.

Earlier, Bangladesh scored 290 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in their 50 overs. Tamzid Hasan played a brilliant 107-run innings, while Towhid Hridoy remained unbeaten at 48. Other contributors included Liton Das (41), Saif Hasan (37), and Najmul Hasan Shanto (27).

For Pakistan, Haris Rauf took 3 wickets, while Abrar Ahmed and Shaheen Shah Afridi claimed one wicket each.
