Karachi (Showbiz Desk) — Pakistani actress Bushra Ansari has expressed concern over the country’s rapidly growing population and the issue of family planning, saying that the matter requires serious attention.
Speaking during a private television program, she said that she often talks about the continuous increase in population and prays that the country is able to deal with this challenge effectively.
Referring to the past, the actress stated that awareness campaigns regarding family planning and appropriate spacing between children were once more visible, but such activities now appear to be less prominent.
Bushra Ansari said that while Allah Almighty is the provider of sustenance, human beings have also been granted the ability to think and make better decisions. According to her, responsible planning is necessary while considering family needs, children’s education, healthcare, and future prospects.
She further said that when resources are limited and the number of children is high, the effects are felt not only by parents but also by the children themselves. Therefore, social and economic realities should be taken into account.
