Case of Crores of Rupees Payment Linked to Amjad Khan; Revelation of Offer of Help from Underworld

New Delhi (Showbiz Desk): The son of late Bollywood actor Amjad Khan, Shadab Khan, has revealed that more than Rs. 12.7 million owed to his father by various film industry producers has still not been returned.

In an interview, Shadab Khan said that at that time this amount was considered very large and could have been enough to purchase several flats in Mumbai’s upscale Pali Hill area.

He stated that his father had forgiven loans of some individuals himself, but those who were financially capable of repaying still did not return the money.

According to Shadab Khan, after his father’s death, a person linked to the underworld contacted the family and offered to recover the money within three days. However, his mother, Shehla Khan, rejected the offer, stating that their family had never taken help from such sources.

It is worth noting that Amjad Khan acted in more than 130 films during his two-decade-long career, and his role as Gabbar in the film Sholay earned him everlasting fame.
