Lahore: A significant development has emerged in a case involving the alleged rape of a woman, as a sessions court has fixed a date to frame charges against YouTuber Rajab Butt and other accused individuals.
Additional Sessions Judge Yasir Arafat presided over the hearing, during which the court provided copies of the challan to the accused and issued summons for the next proceedings.
The court has called YouTuber Rajab Butt and other nominated accused to appear on April 22 for the formal framing of charges.
Meanwhile, the petitioner argued that the Nawab Town police registered the case contrary to facts and requested the court to confirm his interim bail.
According to the affected woman, the accused allegedly invited her to a house and subjected her to rape. The individuals named in the case include Rajab Butt, Jahangir, Jawad Ali, and Abdul Rehman.
