Beijing (Monitoring Desk): Chinese President Xi Jinping has said that the people of the Middle East should reject foreign interference in the region and seek to resolve their issues themselves.
According to foreign media reports, during his visit to Egypt, Chinese President Xi Jinping met with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. During the meeting, emphasis was placed on a four-point strategy for peace and stability in the Middle East.
During the meeting, the Chinese president said that China supports dialogue for peace and stability in the region. He said that the Palestine issue is the most important issue in the Middle East and must be resolved.
Xi Jinping said that a lasting security system should be established in the region through joint cooperation and comprehensive efforts. Alongside this, strong international relations and cooperation should also be promoted for development.
Earlier, the Chinese president had said that the most important need at present was an immediate ceasefire in Gaza. He warned that an early end to the war was necessary to prevent the conflict from spreading across the entire region.
The Chinese president further said that the fundamental path toward a permanent solution to the Palestine-Israel conflict is the implementation of the two-state solution.
