Lahore (Showbiz Desk) Pakistani digital creator couple Kanwal Aftab and Zulqarnain Sikandar are currently in Saudi Arabia for the sacred pilgrimage of Hajj, where they have been sharing pictures and videos of their journey on social media.
The couple is among Pakistan’s well-known vloggers and has a large following on YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram, while their family-related content is also widely appreciated by fans.
During Hajj, a video of Kanwal Aftab sparked strong criticism on social media over her makeup look, particularly dark lipstick. Some users termed the use of makeup in the state of Ihram as inappropriate.
Responding to the criticism, Kanwal Aftab stated that worship and personal style should be seen separately and questioned, “What does my lipstick have to do with my worship?”
However, the debate continued on social media, where some users supported her stance while others emphasized simplicity and adherence to religious guidelines during Hajj.
