Decision made to frame charges against 15 individuals, including Jacqueline Fernandez

Mumbai (Showbiz Desk) — An Indian court has decided to frame charges against 15 individuals, including actress Jacqueline Fernandez, in an alleged money laundering case involving ₹2 billion (200 crore rupees).

According to Indian media reports, the main accused in the case, Sukesh Chandrashekhar, his wife Leena Maria Paul, Pinky Irani, Deepak Ramnani, and several others are also named in the proceedings.

A court in New Delhi remarked that, based on the available evidence, there is sufficient prima facie material to proceed against all the accused under laws related to the prevention of money laundering. The court has summoned all accused persons to appear on June 3 for further proceedings.

Reports indicate that Jacqueline Fernandez’s name has surfaced repeatedly over the past few years during investigations involving Sukesh Chandrashekhar, and investigative agencies have questioned her on multiple occasions.

According to investigators, Sukesh Chandrashekhar is accused of obtaining large sums of money through alleged extortion and financial fraud involving various individuals.

Indian authorities claim that Jacqueline Fernandez allegedly received expensive gifts and financial benefits from Sukesh Chandrashekhar. However, all allegations remain under judicial consideration, and the matter is pending before the court until a final verdict is reached.
