New York (Monitoring Desk): Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, has stated that any decision regarding restrictions on Iran’s uranium enrichment would be political rather than technical in nature.
According to British media reports, Rafael Grossi clarified that under any potential agreement with the United States, the duration of restrictions imposed on Iran would not be determined on scientific or technical grounds, but rather through political decisions.
He added that determining how long Iran would refrain from uranium enrichment would depend on the political strategies of the concerned parties and the progress of ongoing negotiations.
Grossi emphasized that in such matters, alongside technical considerations, political factors play a crucial role in defining both the nature and duration of any agreement.
