Mumbai (Showbiz Desk): Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone is ready to resume work after maternity leave and, according to reports, will begin shooting for Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming film King on October 26.
According to reports from Indian media and Variety, Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan will reunite in Mumbai to shoot a major song for the film.
Reports state that Vaibhavi Merchant will choreograph the song, while other cast members are also expected to participate. However, details about the song's title and composer have not yet been revealed.
It is worth mentioning that Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh welcomed their second child on September 19, 2026. News of the actress's return to film work after childbirth is being welcomed by her fans.
Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone have previously worked together in several films, including Om Shanti Om, Chennai Express, Happy New Year, Pathaan, and Jawan.
Other actors expected to appear in King include Suhana Khan, Rani Mukerji, Abhishek Bachchan, and Arshad Warsi.
According to reports, the action thriller, being made on a budget of approximately 45 billion Indian rupees, is scheduled to be released in cinemas on December 24.
