NORWAY (Monitoring Desk) — A massive fire that suddenly broke out in the Norwegian city of Drammen caused widespread destruction, leaving more than 100 houses completely destroyed.
According to sources, strong winds caused the fire to spread to nearby forests, making the situation even more critical.
Soon after the fire was reported, rescue teams reached the scene. Firefighters and more than 60 volunteers are working to control the blaze with the help of helicopters.
