Lahore (Showbiz Desk): Social activist and psychologist Dr. Nabiha Ali Khan has filed a petition for khula in the family court seeking separation from her husband.
According to details, Dr. Nabiha Ali approached the court through her lawyer Chaudhry Mudassar Advocate, stating that she no longer wishes to continue her married life with her husband Haris Khokhar.
The petition alleges that her husband’s behavior was inappropriate and that he allegedly subjected her to verbal abuse and violence. According to the petitioner, she did not receive respect and better treatment.
Dr. Nabiha Ali told the court that she faced severe difficulties due to her husband’s behavior and that it was no longer possible for her to live with him.
The petition requests the court to issue a decree for khula.
