Lahore (Showbiz Desk) — Pakistani YouTuber Ducky Bhai and his wife Aroob Jatoi have come under criticism on social media over a new vlog in which Aroob completed a challenge to spend Rs10 million in a single day.
In the vlog, Aroob Jatoi said she first had a meal at a luxury restaurant, where she paid a bill of around Rs50,000. She then bought a latest iPhone, which was said to cost approximately Rs1 million.
Later, Aroob Jatoi visited a jewelry shop, where she purchased gold jewelry and spent most of the Rs10 million there.
After the video went viral, a large number of social media users criticized the move. Some users said displaying wealth in this manner before the public was inappropriate, while others described it as unnecessary showmanship.
Some users said their objection was not to spending the money but to showcasing it on social media platforms.
On the other hand, some users said that despite the criticism, such vlogs bring more fame and income to YouTubers.
