Mumbai (Showbiz Desk): Bollywood actor Aamir Khan’s brother Faisal Khan has publicly apologised for the allegations he previously made against his family, admitting that it was a mistake to bring private family matters into the media.
According to Indian media reports, Faisal Khan said in his recent statement that he now wants to move past old grievances and rebuild relationships within the family.
He also claimed that he has been issued a certificate by a government hospital declaring him completely fit in terms of mental health, presenting a different perspective on earlier claims made about his condition.
Speaking on a podcast with Ujjwal Trivedi, Faisal Khan first apologised to his mother and sister Nikhat. He said that in moments of emotion he shared issues publicly that should have remained within the family.
He admitted that long-suppressed feelings came out over the years, but said he should not have made remarks about his sister Nikhat and her husband Santosh Hegde.
Faisal Khan also expressed a desire to improve relations with his brother Aamir Khan, saying he had previously made inappropriate remarks about him as well and now deeply regrets it.
He added that he has realised his mistakes and hopes to rebuild trust, affection, and family bonds between the brothers.
