Lahore (Sports Desk) — The first phase of a training camp organized at the National Cricket Academy to improve the skills of fast bowlers has concluded.
The camp, held from August 24 to 28, focused on helping fast bowlers improve their bowling techniques and overcome weaknesses under the supervision of the coaching staff. National white-ball team assistant coach Ashley Nofke paid special attention to the players’ technical weaknesses and possible areas for improvement.
On the final day of the camp, national white-ball team head coach Mike Hesson also attended and reviewed the performances of emerging fast bowlers during the net session, providing them with useful technical guidance.
Director High Performance Aaqib Javed also met the players on the closing day. Peshawar Region’s Abu Zar was named the camp’s best bowler, while Razaullah was named Bowler of the Camp.
The second phase of the camp, for spin bowlers, will be held at the National Cricket Academy from August 31 to September 4.
