Lahore (Sports Desk) — Former Federal Minister Fawad Chaudhry has advised the Pakistan Cricket Board that winning the second Test appears difficult in the current situation, so it should at least save its honor.
In a statement on the social media platform X, Fawad Chaudhry said the PCB has two options to deal with the matter. The first is for the board to clearly state that it is unhappy with Sky Sports and refuse to play in the future.
Explaining the second option, he said captain Babar Azam could refuse to play the match, citing the treatment of former Prime Minister Imran Khan and the pressure that increased following the Sky Sports interview.
Meanwhile, the Pakistan Cricket Board has formally lodged a complaint against Sky Sports for broadcasting an interview with Qasim Khan and Sulaiman Khan during the Lord’s Test.
It is worth noting that on the second day of the Lord’s Test, Pakistan’s entire team was dismissed for just 110 runs in the first innings. By the end of the day, England had scored 81 runs for the loss of three wickets in its second innings and held an overall lead of 180 runs.
