Khanewal (Pakistan Khabar): Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has criticized the federal government, saying that the decision to create 15 provinces in the country is not correct, while the government is making a mockery of Pakistan's Constitution.
Speaking to the media after visiting JUI-F leader Allama Ikram-ul-Qadri in Khanewal, Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that instead of adopting a serious approach toward the country's Constitution, it has been turned into a joke.
He said that two provinces of the country are already facing unrest and problems, but the government is talking about creating new provinces. According to him, the government has completely lost the confidence of the people.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that the government's decision to create 15 provinces is wrong, while the earlier decision to merge the tribal districts into Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has also proved extremely harmful.
He further said that Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) is holding talks with the Pakistan Peoples Party and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, and a joint strategy will be decided in the assembly.
