Islamabad (Commerce Desk): The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has issued an important announcement regarding income tax returns, stating that the filing of income tax returns for Tax Year 2026 will begin from 27 July.
FBR spokesperson has instructed all taxpayers to submit their tax returns completely, accurately, and honestly to help make the country's tax system more effective and transparent.
According to the spokesperson, all information provided in tax returns must be based on facts, and every taxpayer should ensure that all details mentioned in their returns are correct and complete.
The FBR stated that timely and accurate tax returns play an important role in establishing a strong tax system. Taxpayers are responsible for submitting their returns on time according to the prescribed procedure and ensuring the accuracy of the information provided.
