Karachi (Showbiz Desk): Renowned Pakistani film actress Resham has expressed concerns that someone might marry her solely to gain fame.
She shared these views while appearing as a guest on a private TV program, where she spoke openly about various aspects of her personal life. During the conversation, the actress said that she has been working consistently in the showbiz industry for a long time and, as an independent and hardworking woman, she is grateful to God. However, she feels that perhaps it is not written in her fate to rely on a man’s earnings.
Resham, who is still unmarried, stated that she always believed she would get married at some stage in life, but it has not happened so far. She also expressed concern over the growing trend of marriages ending quickly in today’s era.
The actress is also actively involved in charitable activities, including distributing free meals (langar). She said she hopes her future life partner will support her in this noble cause. Expressing her wish, she added that she wants to marry a good person who can provide her with financial resources so she can spend that money on welfare work and organizing langar.
Resham further noted that in the age of social media, the trend of forming relationships for temporary fame has increased, and she cannot imagine spending her life with someone who would leave her after achieving short-term goals.
