Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi reviews upgrade of National Police Academy Islamabad

Islamabad (Pakistan News) Work on the upgradation project of the National Police Academy is progressing rapidly, with significant development reported in the construction and improvement of various training facilities.

According to details, 80% of the repelling tower at the Elite Training School has been completed, while 70% of the jogging track and obstacles course has also been finished.

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the National Police Academy Islamabad and reviewed the ongoing development work in detail. A high-level meeting was also held on the occasion, chaired by him, to assess the progress of the project.

During the meeting, instructions were issued to complete the firing range and boundary wall of the Elite School within the next two months. It was also decided to gradually shift the National Police Academy to solar energy.

Moreover, in-principle approval was given to review the MCMC course, while directions were issued to equip all classrooms with modern IT facilities.

The meeting was attended by DG FIA, Chairman CDA, IG Islamabad Police, Deputy Commandant of the National Police Academy, and other senior officials.
