Zurich (Sports Desk): FIFA has imposed suspensions and fines on players and officials from both Argentina and Spain following a clash between the teams’ players at the end of the FIFA World Cup final.
Argentina’s Leandro Paredes was suspended for 10 international matches and fined $90,000, while Molina received a seven-match suspension and a $90,000 fine.
Team official Roberto Ayala was suspended for three matches and fined $30,000.
Argentina’s Thiago Almada and Spain’s Pablo Martin were each suspended for one match and fined $30,000.
