Lahore (Sports Desk) — FIFA President Gianni Infantino has praised the efforts of Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) President Syed Mohsin Gilani for promoting football in Pakistan.
Gianni Infantino shared a picture of himself meeting Syed Mohsin Gilani on the photo and video-sharing platform Instagram and said that he had met the president of the Pakistan Football Federation.
According to the FIFA president, the meeting discussed ways to continue mutual cooperation in football so that young people in Pakistan can have more opportunities to enjoy the sport.
Gianni Infantino said Syed Mohsin Gilani’s vision was impressive, while he was also briefed during the meeting on the latest developments regarding football-related projects in Pakistan.
He said FIFA had pledged to continue supporting the Pakistan Football Federation’s plans for the development of football.
The FIFA president thanked Syed Mohsin Gilani and the Pakistan Football Federation and also expressed his best wishes for the team’s success in the “FIFA ASEAN Cup 2026” and the “FIFA Under-15 World Cup and Festival 2026.”
