According to reports, the gamer obtained the GTA 6 Standard Edition, worth approximately $79.99, for only $2.12, saving $77.87, which is equivalent to nearly a 97 percent discount.
The interesting incident occurred when a Reddit user revealed that a few months earlier, he had purchased a PlayStation 5 Pro from Best Buy to complete his gaming setup before the release of GTA 6.
During the purchase, he used the company's credit card, which earned him cashback rewards and reward certificates. However, he forgot to use them for some time.
Later, when GTA 6 pre-orders opened, he redeemed the reward certificates available in his account, which covered most of the game's price. He then applied an additional 10 percent discount coupon, reducing the final price of the game to just $2.12.
