Peshawar (Pakistan Khabar) — Former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has said that the party had made no special preparations for the long march, while the change in its date had caused damage to the party.
Speaking informally to journalists, Ali Amin Gandapur said that if pressure on the federal government increased, it would be willing to accept the demands, while the decision to negotiate with the government was a matter for the party leadership and decision-makers.
The former chief minister said ministers, members of the provincial assembly and workers were being arrested because the chief minister’s writ did not exist in the province.
Ali Amin Gandapur said that if the PTI founder ordered him to do so, he could become chief minister again, adding that he had stepped down from the position on the instructions of the PTI founder.
He said that despite obstacles and resistance, he had managed to reach Islamabad three times during the protests.
Ali Amin Gandapur said he had met Chief Minister Sohail Afridi in a cordial atmosphere, adding, “We belong to the same party, we are Pashtuns, and we respect a guest who comes to our home.”
