Global crude oil prices decline, stock markets show mixed trend

Islamabad (Commerce Desk) A downward trend has been observed in global crude oil prices.

According to international media, Brent crude oil has fallen from $124 to $114 per barrel, while West Texas Intermediate (WTI) has decreased from $110 to $104 per barrel.

Reuters reported that after reaching a four-year high in the global oil market, prices are now showing signs of stabilization.

On the other hand, the Pakistan Stock Exchange witnessed a bearish trend, where the 100 Index dropped by 2,829 points to close at 162,994 points.

Global stock markets also showed mixed performance. Markets in Japan, Hong Kong, South Korea, and India declined by more than 1%, while Germany, the United Kingdom, and France recorded gains.
