Karachi (Commerce Desk): Gold and silver prices recorded a significant decline in international and local bullion markets, bringing the price of gold in Pakistan down by Rs7,000 per tola.
According to the Sarafa Association, the price of 24-karat gold fell by Rs7,000 per tola to Rs424,536, while the price of 10 grams of gold dropped by Rs6,001 to Rs363,971.
Gold prices also declined in the international market, where the price per ounce fell by $70 to $4,020.
Silver prices also recorded a decrease alongside gold. In the local market, the price of 24-karat silver fell by Rs221 per tola to Rs5,865.
The decline in precious metal prices in both international and local markets has led to a significant drop in gold and silver rates.
