Karachi (Commerce Desk) — Gold prices declined in both international and domestic markets, while silver prices recorded an increase.
In the international bullion market, the price of gold per ounce fell by $18 on Monday to $4,436.
The decline in international prices also affected local bullion markets, where on the first day of the business week, the price of 24-karat gold per tola decreased by Rs1,800 to Rs466,136.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold fell by Rs1,414 to Rs399,636.
On the other hand, unlike gold, silver prices increased. In the country, the price of silver per tola rose by Rs67 to Rs7,179, while the price of 10 grams of silver increased by Rs57 to Rs6,154.
