Karachi (Commerce Desk) — Gold prices recorded a further decline in global and regional markets amid expectations of an increase in U.S. interest rates.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola fell by Rs12,800 to Rs438,136.
The price of 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs10,973, bringing it down to Rs375,631.
In the international market, the price of gold also fell by $128 to $4,156 per ounce.
It may be recalled that on September 26, the price of gold per tola in Pakistan had also recorded a decline of Rs2,100.
