Gwadar (Pakistan News): The Election Commission of Pakistan has announced the schedule for by-elections on vacant seats of the Gwadar Municipal Committee and relevant Union Councils.
According to the notification, elections will be held on Ward No. 20 and 21 of Gwadar Municipal Committee, Ward No. 4 of Union Council No. 3, and Ward No. 5 of Union Council No. 10.
Candidates will be able to submit their nomination papers from July 1 to July 3, 2026 at the Returning Officer’s office in Gwadar between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
The scrutiny of nomination papers will be completed from July 6 to July 8, while candidates can withdraw their nominations by July 18, 2026.
The Election Commission said that polling for these seats will take place on August 9, 2026, and preparations for the elections are being finalized.
