Karachi (Showbiz Desk) — Pakistani actress Hira Somroo has responded to some senior actresses over comments regarding age in the showbiz industry.
Hira Somroo shared an old wedding picture with her husband on Instagram and expressed her views on the discussion surrounding her age.
The actress said she is considerably younger than several Pakistani actresses she has worked with and has no issue with the matter of age; however, the situation has now started to feel strange to her.
Without naming any actress, Hira Somroo claimed that some senior actresses try to portray her as older than themselves because she is a mother of children.
She said she got married at a very young age and becoming a mother does not mean that her age has become equal to or greater than that of senior actresses.
Hira Somroo said, “Please leave my age alone and worry about your own age.”
The actress has appeared in several popular Pakistani dramas, including Tere Bin and Jaan-e-Jahan. She is also a mother of two children, having married at a young age.
