Houthi Attacks on Saudi Oil Facilities Push Global Oil Prices Higher

Washington (Monitoring Desk) — Global crude oil prices increased further after missile and drone attacks by the Houthi militia targeted oil facilities in Saudi Arabia.

Concerns among investors have grown that the attacks could affect production in Saudi Arabia, the region’s largest oil exporter.

According to Reuters, the price of Brent crude reached $103 per barrel, while US crude surpassed $91 per barrel.

The price of Murban crude from the United Arab Emirates also reached $111 per barrel, while natural gas prices recorded a slight decline.
