Lahore (Sports Desk) Pakistan Super League franchise Peshawar Zalmi all-rounder Iftikhar Ahmed says he takes the fans calling him “Chacha” positively and enjoys it.
Talking in Lahore, he said he had done extensive bowling preparation in domestic cricket, and this season he has focused equally on both batting and bowling.
Iftikhar Ahmed said that it is the fans’ love that they call him “Chacha”, and he takes it in a positive spirit. According to him, young players in the team are also performing well and are capable of representing Pakistan in the future.
He further said that the Peshawar Zalmi management has built a strong combination and there is good talent available in the dugout. The aim is to perform well in upcoming matches and keep team morale high.
Iftikhar Ahmed added that his goal is to continue playing for Pakistan for many more years and he believes he can remain active in cricket for around 7 to 8 more years.
