Rawalpindi (Pakistan News): Eight militants were killed during two major security operations conducted in Balochistan, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The ISPR stated that security forces carried out two swift intelligence-based operations in the districts of Kharan and Mastung on June 25 and 26, targeting militants belonging to a group described as “Fitna-e-Hindustan”.
According to the military’s media wing, an operation was conducted on June 25 in Kharan following intelligence about militant movement, resulting in the killing of three militants and injuries to several others.
In a subsequent operation, additional militants were targeted, bringing the total number of those killed in both actions to eight.
The ISPR said the operations are part of ongoing intelligence-based efforts aimed at eliminating terrorism and improving the security situation across the country.
