Tehran (Monitoring Desk) — In response to recent US attacks, Iran has claimed that it targeted American military bases in Kuwait and Bahrain with missile and drone strikes.
According to Iranian state television, Camp Arifjan and Ali Al Salem in Kuwait, along with Juffair and Sheikh Isa military bases in Bahrain, were targeted.
In a statement issued by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, it warned that if further attacks are carried out by the United States, other American military bases in the region could also be targeted.
According to the Revolutionary Guard, two bridges leading to Mashhad were also affected in the US attacks, which Iran described as an attempt to disrupt the gathering for the funeral of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
According to Iranian media, attacks were carried out in various areas including Bandar Abbas, Bushehr, Chabahar, Konarak, and Iranshahr, while an operation in the city of Ahvaz resulted in the deaths of three people and injuries to several others.
According to the Iranian military, eight Air Force and Navy personnel were also killed in attacks carried out on Bandar Abbas and Bushehr the previous day.
